Tatiana Chanell, the ex-girlfriend of rapper Real Boston Richey, has issued a statement following the release of footage from a March 30 incident at Sekai, a nightclub in Houston, which has since led to formal charges being filed against the rapper.

The viral video shows Real Boston Richey, whose real name is Jalen Foster, aggressively snatching a phone from Tatiana's hand before the clip cuts out as several men step in between the former couple. While the video doesn’t capture what happened next, Tatiana provided her version of events in a public statement shared online.

“I want to address a deeply personal and painful situation that has recently occurred,” she wrote. “While pregnant, I was physically assaulted and choked by my former boyfriend, Jalen, aka Boston Richey.”

Tatiana alleges the rapper choked her “approximately 6 to 10 seconds” at a time, doing so “about 20 times over the course of two hours.”

She continued, “This experience has been traumatic and heartbreaking beyond words. No one deserves to be hurt, especially during such a vulnerable time. My priority right now is the safety and well-being of myself and my future. I ask for privacy and respect during this painful time.”

In response, Boston Richey appeared to address the allegations indirectly via Instagram, writing:

"Ion put my business on the internet no more but if yk me yk… I let a mf think what they gone think and run wit they bs and narrative. REAL P Never Going LAME. My ALBUM OTW—Public Housin 3.”

Adding fuel to the fire, the rapper’s DJ, DJ Wavy, chimed in on social media, accusing Tatiana of chasing clout and hinting that her motivations are not as pure as they seem.

“She know I know everything!” he wrote. “It ain’t just about what y’all think. She mad for a whole different reason.”

So far, Tatiana has not responded to DJ Wavy’s claims.
