Kanye Makes Shocking Claim About His Mother Being Into Women
Kanye West, also known as Ye, has once again stirred up controversy with a tweet that left many fans and followers stunned. Known for his unfiltered stream-of-consciousness posts, Ye shared a message involving his late mother that sparked widespread backlash online.
“You know that day when you [hear] noises coming from your moms room and you find out she’s a lesbian and you’re like Mom that’s my babysitter. You’re sleeping with the employees. See, I got it from you mom,” he wrote.
The post was met with immediate criticism, with many calling the tweet inappropriate and questioning Ye’s state of mind. This latest outburst follows a deeply personal revelation from last month, when Ye opened up about his long-standing struggles with suicidal thoughts following his mother’s death.
“I thought about killing myself at least once a month ever since my mama was killed in her surgery. I always blamed myself. I felt like if I never ‘made it’ my mom would still be alive,” he shared. “People ask if I’m okay. These past five weeks have been the first time I haven’t wanted to kill myself.”
Ye’s mother, Donda West, passed away in 2007 following complications from cosmetic surgery, including liposuction, a tummy tuck, and a breast reduction. According to her autopsy report, she experienced a sore throat, chest pain, and tightening before collapsing the day after her procedures. Her unexpected death had a profound and lasting impact on Ye, who has since referenced the loss frequently in his music and interviews.
While Ye’s openness about mental health continues to resonate with many, his erratic online behavior often blurs the line between vulnerability and controversy—leaving fans both concerned and conflicted.
