During a court hearing earlier this week, investigators presented social media posts, wiretaps, ballistics, surveillance footage, and informant interviews as evidence against seven men charged in the fatal shooting of two 13-year-old boys in Atlanta. The suspects stand accused of killing Lamon Freeman and his friend Jakody Davis during a birthday party in 2024.

The preliminary hearings aim to determine whether there is enough evidence for the suspects to stand trial. An undercover detective testified that the accused men are members of the Goodfellas gang and claimed the shooting stemmed from an ongoing gang feud with the street gang 4PF.

4PF has been linked to rapper Lil Baby, and during the hearing, gang investigator Marissa Viverito played a wiretap recording that she claimed captured two individuals discussing a bounty. According to Viverito, the "ticket" or bounty was allegedly placed by Dominique Jones—Lil Baby’s real name.

Lil Baby’s attorneys, Drew Findling and Marissa Goldberg, have strongly denied the allegations, stating that their client is not affiliated with any gang and had no involvement in the shooting. They dismissed the claims as “complete and total nonsense.”
