Kanye West is once again speaking out about his issues with Playboi Carti after the rapper left him off his latest album, I AM MUSIC, among other grievances.

In a recent video, Ye expressed his frustration, using A$AP Rocky and Rihanna as an analogy to illustrate how he feels wronged by Carti. He appeared to reference his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, calling her his “public enemy” while explaining the situation.

“[The] Carti situation: picture this. Imagine he leave Rocky off the album. But it be a situation where Rocky and Rihanna was divorced. And they were basically public enemies.”

Ye then took issue with Carti allegedly seeking Kim Kardashian’s permission to use their daughter North’s vocals on his album instead of consulting him directly. He compared the move to someone reaching out to Rihanna instead of A$AP Rocky to feature their child on a song.

“And then Carti raps about Fenty, and then calls Rihanna or Internet connects with Rihanna to ask to put Rocky’s kid on a song the next week. Yo, Carti, what you doing?”

Kanye’s remarks sparked a reaction online, with fans weighing in on the situation. One social media user, @xohryanx, commented,“If he’s going to call anybody about your kids for music, it should 100% be you. That’s like circumventing LeBron and asking his wife about Bronny for a charity b-ball game.”

Ye responded in agreement, writing, “This is what I’m saying. Because I’ve put my neck on the line to expose so many things about how the industry works. When things like this happen, it’s clear to everyone. I shot that video 4 times to make it very clear—to not ramble and to not show frustration.”
